About Us
Rural Water District 10 is located in southern Leavenworth County and serves patrons in parts of Reno and Sherman townships. We are adjacent to Leavenworth County RWD 7, to the east, and Jefferson County RWD 13, to the west.
RWD 10 does not produce its own water, but is supplied by Suburban Water and Jefferson County RWD 13. The District works closely with our suppliers to ensure compliance and quality of water. If there are ever any concerns regarding water quality, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we may follow up with our suppliers for resolution.
RWD 10 is managed by a seven-member board that oversees usage rates and distribution of water in the district. The board employs Conley Sitework & Utilities, an independent contractor, to oversee the business of the District under the general control, supervision and direction of the Board.
Board Meetings
RWD 10's Board of Directors meets monthly at the Linwood Community Center, 105 E 3 St, Linwood, KS 66052. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm.
Meetings are open to the public. If you would like to address the Board, please contact the office by the Friday before the meeting to be added to the agenda.
